Greg Lamarche

October 4 to October 27, 2012
Joshua Liner Gallery | 548 West 28th Street

One of our favorite artists is Greg Lamarche, also known as SP.One. His current show at Josh Liner Gallery in Chelsea shows a range of ideas centered around letterforms. The show includes assemblages, collages, hand drawn illustrations and paintings. Some of Lamarche’s work refer back to the days of Kurt Schwitters and Mimmo Rotella but he’s also put together a mural which is pure 2012 SP.One.

Remi was there too!

Leonardo Drew

Sep 6 – Oct 13, 2012

This one is ending soon, but there is another show (print) of him a few blocks away.

Pace Prints  | 521 West 26th Street, 3rd & 4th Floors

Neto is a Brazilian artist known for work that combines various materials such as cloth, spices and thin stretchy material. Some of his work is physically interactive, as you can walk, sit, climb, or lay down inside the work. Usually, it smells like heaven. It should be a wonderful addition to the architectural gem that is the Louis Vuitton building in Omotesando.

Unfortunately, this is one exhibition I will have to miss!
